It's not always that I do Oldies, but I thought to myself, 'I never do Oldies songs.' So, here we are. I went to Apple Music and searched their Oldies playlists and this was the song that stuck out to me most. It's "Do You Believe in Magic" by The Lovin' Spoonful and it features a traditional shuffle, which I completely suck at and had to practice over and over just to get it to what you see in this video, which is passable but still has hints of the rock shuffle.
The difference between the two can be heard if you listen to "La Grange" or "Tush" by ZZ Top (traditional shuffle) vs. "Rosanna" by Toto or "Fool in the Rain" by Led Zeppelin (rock shuffle). The traditional shuffle is much more jazz-based and, for me, much more difficult.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this cover, and let me know what you think of it in the comments!!! Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for more videos :)
