I love that line. I always have, even when I wasn't religious. So, even though this isn't a religious song, I felt like it was one I wanted to sing as well as play drums to. But I must admit that I am not too happy about the way this one came out.
I actually recorded this a few months before and scrapped it because my time was off. Well, my time was off again and then I quantized it in Logic Pro and found out that the meter is sort of all over the place in the original drum backing track from www.karaoke-version.com so at least I know it's not just me ;)
Anyway, my singing is a little off because I have a cold and my basement, if you can't tell by me wearing a fleece hoodie was friggen cold too. But I still hope you enjoy this one.
