I don't care what any of you say, I am a huge Savage Garden fan. Call it my guilty pleasure or whatever you want but this duo wrote a ton of hits and Darren Hayes' voice is just angelic. He makes these crazy vocal melodies sound so easy and they are anything but. I had a real hard time trying to sound even remotely anything like him.
Also, I know this might not be the most exciting drum cover, but I Knew I Loved this song the moment I heard it. When I was fronting my band, Plastik Glasses (called Eden Proxy at the time[a loooooong time ago), my guitarist Robert Vasquez and I would play an acoustic version of this song. We'd drive to any coffee shop open mic we could get to in Los Angeles, and more often than not we would turn heads and keep butts in seats. LOL. So keep your butt in your seat and check this one out!
