Just when I think I might have a handle on the best punk album, another one comes along and just reminds me that they are all just so good. "Clobberer" by Rhythm Collision is no different. What an album!!! And "Happy As A Fu&%king Clam" has got to be the signature song from this album. Even though every song on this LP rocks, something about this one just brings it over the top for me.
The drums are a lot more difficult to play along to than it sounds. On the surface, it doesn't seem too complicated, but there's some phrasing in the bridge that's tricky, and the overall tempo is faster than it seems. On top of that, the bass drum pattern is packed full for such a tempo.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this cover! Please come back tomorrow for Day 5!
