I used to sing (or, attempt to, at least) "One Week" all the friggen time when it first came out. Yes, it was nerdy. Yes, it was cheesy. And, yes, it was Canadian. But I loved it. I love trying to sing fast lyrics. I don't consider this rapping really. It's more like singing really fast.
Anyway, I remember being able to sing it rather well back then. I'm not sure if it's age or what, but there's no way I can sing this from beginning to end. So, when I found out that one of their singers sings the verses and the other sings the choruses, it was like a sign from Heaven that I needed to try and karaoke this song.
Admittedly, I had never been interested in the drums. They are extremely simple, but when I actually sat down and played along, I found it to be a fun song to play. There's a latin element to it, not sure if it's Samba or what, but it was altogether a great song to cover and I hope you enjoy it
