Well hot diggity dog, I had no idea that Adam Schlesinger laid down the original drum tracks on their debut album! That is very cool. I wish they would have called me though LOL! If they did, I would have tracked the first song off the album a little like this. I hope you enjoy my drum cover (as well as my karaoke performance) and be sure to check out my cover of "Stacy's Mom" that I released earlier this week as well.
FUN FACT: I was in a Fountains of Wayne cover band. I played rhythm guitar and vocals; my good buddy, Joey Gabra (aka J-Gabz) played lead guitars and vocals; our friend (and Eve 6 roadie) Justin Marshall played bass; and Max Collins (singer and bassist for Eve 6) was the drummer, and he used my set! We called ourselves Faucets of Wayne and played like 2-3 parties LOL. Good times, man, good times!
