There came a time when my punk band Blindsided fizzled out because contract negotiations between us and Epitaph Records stalled and went nowhere.
Singer/Guitarist Casey Lynch and Bassist Patrick Cornell decided to pay more attention to their church band, and even though I was a non-believer at the time, they invited me to play drums in their church band. It was a paid gig so of course I had to take it.
All that to say that's how I came across this song. We played it at a couple Sunday services and it was always one of my favorite songs, Christian or not. Check it out and let me know what you think:
