This is the first of three all-instrument covers I am doing for my wife's birthday week. I chose three of her favorite 90s songs that I can actually play well enough on the other instruments. I hope she likes them lol!

Also, I'd like to wish a Happy (posthumous) Birthday to my uncle, Carlos Vega, who would have been 64 today. RIP, uncs. I still think about you every day.
Radiohead's "High and Dry" is one of my all-time favorite songs. I used to listen to The Bends on repeat in high school. I believe it captures the gamut of emotions a teen feels in his roller-coaster life. It's an amazing album in all aspects. From the performances and writing to the production, mixing, and mastering. I love the raw sound they got for this record. It sounds nothing like music today even though this album could be released today and still kill it.
I've really been trying to step up my own mixing and production game and I thought this would be a great song to cover all the way around. It's sort of like homework for me to try and recreate the vibe of the recording but also add my own little touch to it.
I recorded the drums in two takes and then took a little more time for the other instruments, but was still able to do all of them in one day. Then I mixed it and edited the video on the third day. So all in all, this video took three days to make. Not too bad, I think? What do you guys say? Let me know in the comments!!!
