I only recently made the connection that @JustinHawkinsRidesAgain is the singer for @TheActualDarkness (duh)! I have been watching his channel for some time now and always wondered if he was more than just a music critic. I knew his voice was pro-level and too good to just be a part-time musician/full-time YouTuber. And his insight is too deep to be an outside-looking-in observer.
In any case, when I did make the connection it obviously made me want to cover “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.” Then I remembered that my good ol’ pal J-Gabz loves him/them also. So I asked him if he wanted to do a collab. The result is what you are witnessing now…pure joy 🤩!
BTW, my getup is taken straight from the official music video of this song. If you watch it, you’ll notice that I’m wearing the same thing as the drummer (or, at least, very close). And I tried to find a wig that resembled his hair but also didn’t break the bank (wigs can get expensive)!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this as much as Joey and I did making it!!!
