I had no idea that Paula Cole produced this entire record herself. And did so in less than three weeks. That is quite the achievement. This Fire had two bonafide hits in "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone" and this one, "I Don't Want To Wait." It also had a third, less successful, single, "Me."
The album is RIAA 2xPlatinum certified, which means over 2 Million copies were sold. That is very impressive with all that said.
Anyway, here is my drum cover of "I Don't Want To Wait." I've always had a problem with the original drums. I thought that drag roll was used way too much. So I went ahead and recorded it how I would have recorded it and played it live. Don't sue me LOL!
