Today is Day 1 and features the song, "Sad But True" by none other than the kings of heavy metal, Metallica! So, this song, and this album in particular, isn't the first one that comes to mind when representing the metal genre. I would reference "Ride the Lightning," "Master of Puppets," "...And Justice for All," before this one, but I wanted to open with a very popular song, one that sort of transcends metal and kind of taps into the more commercial side of it. And I thought this was the perfect song.
Plus, I wanted to collaborate with two of my closest YouTube friends, Rich "Raw Dawg" Drums doing vocals and J-Gabz from Fired Up Frets on guitar! I think this one is a banger and a great one to open up #METALMARCH24 - what do you guys think?
