WELCOME to NEW WAVE WEEK 2022 on KMKanDrum!
From Nov 7 to 14, I will be releasing one song a day of my favorite New Wave tunes from the 80s. Now, in no way is this list complete. There are tons of songs I wanted to cover. So I kept them to ones I loved, that I could play drums to as well as sing somewhat well. There were bands like Siouxsie & The Banshees or The B-52s that I wanted to cover, as well as New Order, OMD, The Cars...I mean I can go on and on. But these are just a small sample of New Wave songs and bands that helped define my musical taste and style.
For Day 4, I decided to go with my second favorite Tears For Fears song, "Head Over Heels." My all-time favorite T4F song is "Woman In Chains" which is also my most-watched drum cover. You can check it out below!
