Oingo Boingo was one of the first bands I ever heard. My mom was a huge fan. She would go to their annual Halloween concert at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater every year. She introduced me to them and their Boing Alive double CD was one of the first CDs I ever bought.
My uncle was friends with drummer, Johnny "Vatos" Hernandez and I always loved his style and the amazing subtle things he did on Danny Elfman's amazing music.
Here is my cover of one of my favorite Boingo songs, "On The Outside." I did drums and vocals, so I hope you enjoy it!
