Welcome to Savage Garden Week! I'm covering songs from my favorite pop band, and Aussie greats, Savage Garden. For the whole week, I'll be posting a new Savage Garden cover each day, and today, Day 1 of this adventure, starts with their first mega-hit, "Truly, Madly, Deeply."
When I first heard this song, I fell in love instantly. It was a mix of Michael Jackson and a lot of the post-rock bands that were coming out in the 90s and early 2000s like Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, Live, Dishwalla, and others. It was a combo I didn't know I'd like but realized I needed!
So I hope you enjoy this week. They are kind of my guilty pleasure, seeing as though I grew up a punk rocker. Deep down inside, I love just about everything, as long as it has the right combination of ingredients! Tune in tomorrow for Day 2!
