Welcome to Savage Garden Week! I'm covering songs from my favorite pop band, and Aussie greats, Savage Garden. For the whole week, I'll be posting a new Savage Garden cover each day.
Day 7 (which is NOT the last day!) of Savage Garden Week features probably their biggest hit single, "I Knew I Loved You." Maybe, "Truly, Madly, Deeply" could contend for their top hit, and was definitely the hit that put them on the map, but to me, "I Knew I Loved You" is the quintessential Savage Garden song.

But basically, I did a Savage Garden Week so that I could do this particular song during this particular month. I am dedicating this song to my daughter, Hana, for her 5th birthday at the end of February, because I knew I loved her way before I met her. As a bonus, I am using her sparkly, pink karaoke mic that she got this past Christmas in the video lol!
