"Spark" is my first, but hopefully not my last, Tori Amos drum cover. I figured out that using her official music video footage on my video was what caused YouTube to block it. So I had to go and remove her video footage and reupload my cover, and now, voila! The full version of "Spark" is here for you guys to see.
Anyway, I've been on a little Tori Amos kick lately, and she was just one of the best. So unique and talented and her songwriting is superb. Another great thing about her is that her lyrics are on a more personal level, so they aren't preachy. For example, in this song, she is mad at God but she never makes the listener feel like they, too, should be mad at God. I can appreciate her perspective and honesty, but it doesn't trigger me or offend me in any way.
