"The Middle" is not just a pop-punk song. It is a turn-of-the-century classic that belongs on everyone's Top-10 rock songs of the 21st century IMO. This song put Jimmy Eat World on the map and established them as a bonafide artist in the music world. I absolutely love this song and album. The drums are perfect in every song. Not too much, not too little. And the emotion from Jim Adkins' vocals is such a pleasure to listen to.
