SHOUTOUT to @iy-239 for suggesting this one. Way back in the day, when I was creating content for my "Guess the Drum Cover" series, I did "Mornin'" by Al Jarreau. It never got much traffic and to this day, it's my least-watched video from that series. But the OG drummer was Jeff Porcaro, so you know, I had to do it.

Somehow, @iy-239 found it, watched it, and then requested I do this one, which I should have done a long time ago. "We're In This Love Together" is my favorite Al Jarreau song, and I had no idea that the master, Steve Gadd was on the traps!

I also believe (I'll have to double-check) that this is my first-ever Steve Gadd cover! I know @earldrum has a whole playlist of him covering Steve Gadd. And for good reason...he is the master of groove, and this song is full of it.

I hope you guys enjoy my first Gadd cover and the first of 2024 for this channel, which is now entering its 7th year of existence...wow!
