This is the second of three all-instrument covers I am doing for my wife's 40th birthday week. I chose these three because they are some of her favorite songs from the 90s and I can play the other instruments well enough for me to record some decent takes. I hope she likes them!
"Wonderwall" by Oasis is just a quintessential 90s anthem song. I don't know anyone who at least hasn't heard this song before. They are somewhat of a controversial band and I know not many people like them, or lead singer Liam Gallagher's antics or opinions, but I happen to enjoy some their music. And you know what, sometimes you have to create a little controversy to make yourself relevant.
His statement about being better than the Beatles is pretty silly, but I kind of get it. I like the Beatles and all but I think they are way too overrated, so while I don't agree with Gallagher, I do think anyone can subjectively be better than anyone else, even royalty like the fab-four.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my full-instrument cover. You might think it's better than the original!!! LOL. NOT!
