I recently designed a website on Wix (SEE HERE) and fell in love with it again. Previously, I was doing most of my web design on Wordpress using the Elementor Pro CMS theme and builder. That is a really good theme editor but for YouTube channels, it leaves a lot to be desired still.
So I decided to rebuild my KMKanDrum site here as well. Let me know what you guys think!
The only thing I can find to complain about is that the Wix widget that allows visitors to SUBSCRIBE to your YouTube channel straight from the widget button does not work well. Alas, this seems to be a recurring theme with many CMS websites, so I'm not too concerned.
In any case, this new site is just a lot smoother to navigate. It has pretty much the same content as the old site but it flows in a much more user-friendly way.
You can view my most recent videos right on the front page as well as check out my most recent Instagram posts. The animations are a lot smoother and the UX is clean and uniform. I also love the parallax format. It adds to the dynamics of the site. And I'm able to easily embed YouTube videos and playlists (the latter of which I could not do with Wordpress Elementor), as well as SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music, and others.
Soon, I plan to upgrade to the paid version so that I can use my main domain name rather than this Wix domain with my extension. But in order to do that, I need your guys' help! I need more subscribers to my channel! A lot more LOL! Please SPREAD THE WORD!
