If you're like me and are pretty athletic, you can sometimes get away with not warming up or stretching before sitting down behind the kit. But even for the most athletic and the most youthful, sometimes stretching and warming up are necessary.
In lesson 4, I cover my warmup routine. It's pretty simple. It's pretty painless. It's pretty quick. Anyone can do it and it's better than doing nothing at all. No matter who you are, if you are a drummer, these exercises will definitely benefit you. Conversely, they won't harm or debilitate your playing.
